Post-Adoption Wraparound Program

At Koinonia, we recognize that the journey of adoption doesn’t end with finalization–it’s an evolving process that may present unexpected challenges along the way. In response to the growing need for ongoing post-adoption support, we launched our Post-Adoption Wraparound Program in February 2023. This program is designed to help adoptive families navigate these challenges with confidence by offering flexible, trauma-informed support that fosters stability and long-term well-being. 

What is Post-Adoption Wraparound?

Post-Adoption Wraparound is a structured, family-centered approach that brings together a team of professionals and natural supports to address the unique needs of adoptive families. Unlike traditional services, Post-Adoption Wraparound is highly adaptable, ensuring that the support evolves as your family’s circumstances change. 

This program is specifically designed to:

• Stabilize families in crisis by providing immediate, hands-on support
• Prevent the need for out-of-home care through early intervention and proactive planning
• Empower families with tools and resources to navigate complex challenges

Our focus goes beyond addressing immediate concerns–we aim to strengthen family bonds, prompt resilience, and equip parents with long-term strategies for success. 

Who Can Access Post-Adoption Wraparound Services?

Our Post-Adoption Wraparound Program is available to families who have adopted through foster care or private adoption and are recipients of Adoption Assistance Program (AAP) funding.
