In June of 2022, Koinonia Family Services obtained their full-service adoption license and has been offering private adoption services since that time. Private adoption is when the biological parent(s) voluntarily make an adoption plan for their child. Private adoption also involves the adoption of older children by relatives or friends that the biological parent(s) knows and considers to be family.
Koinonia is able to help facilitate domestic adoptions (within the United States) and services including adoption home study assessments, post-placement supervision, interstate placements via ICPC processing, and stepparent investigations.
