Considering Porting to Koinonia?
If you are currently fostering through another Foster Family Agency or county program and are exploring porting to a new agency, we invite you to join our Porting Information Session to learn more about partnering with Koinonia.
We understand that some families may be considering porting due to changes within their current agency. Our goal is to make the process as clear and supportive as possible while helping you determine if Koinonia is the right fit for your family.
This session is designed for experienced resource parents who would like to learn more about porting their certification to Koinonia and continuing their foster care journey with the support of our team.
During this session, we will cover:
- The process for porting your foster care certification
- What to expect during the porting and home study update process
- An overview of Koinonia’s expectations for resource parents
- Our guiding principles and approach to supporting youth and families
- The training, resources, and support available to Koinonia families
- Time for questions and discussion with our team
