To our friends in the Chrysalis House community,

We know that the recent news of Chrysalis House closing may bring uncertainty for families who have built meaningful relationships and made important commitments through foster care and adoption.

At Koinonia Family Services, we want you to know that you have options and support as you consider what comes next. For more than four decades, Koinonia has partnered with families through foster care and adoption, supporting them as they provide stability, connection, and care for children and youth.

Whether you are a resource family or are working with Chrysalis House through private adoption, our team is available to help you understand the porting process, learn more about Koinonia, and determine the next steps that are right for your family.

We understand that transitioning to a new agency can bring many questions. To help make the process clearer, we’ve provided a few helpful resources for you to review at your convenience:

We invite Chrysalis House families to join us for a “Meet Koinonia” session to learn more about Koinonia, what the transition process may look like, and what to expect moving forward.
